BioThis journal is mostly friends-only, as I regard this as my social space.
Sometimes I'm a burning thing, and sometimes not. Sometimes I am a river. Sometimes I drink the sun. And then I climb back down the ladder, away from the hinge of the world, and live an ordinary life. Until the light glints off the water again in just such a way, or the right feather drops in my path, or the words of their own accord decide to come tumbling out, not needing light or feathers to provoke them. And then it's back to the place where everything is an act of creation, and I stand in between universes and I weave.
All told and outside of the poetic, I really don't know how to describe myself. People are expected to break themselves down into convenient stackable boxes, "I am [identity X] and also a bit of [identity Y]." People are too much, too strange, too beautiful and too varied, and labels are too thin, too flimsy and too limiting, often.
To put it succintly, I am. How about you?
